New Member too! 34ICTdiaginfoNice forum. I've been flying for many years (fixed wing GA) and had heart problems 10 years ago so I now fly a PPC. I am on my second one. I flew a Destiny ST for 5 years and in January had a home built under construction. First flight was May 3rd of this year. Have 14 hours on it now. It is built of mostly 1.25" aluminum 6061 aluminum and is powered by a Generac 990 gas generator engine. I took off the stock carb, built a new manifold, and am running a Weber 34mm ITC single barrel carb. It is supposed to be putting out about 38 H.P. I'm running a 68" - 2 blade wooden QSC adjustable prop. It turns up around 3850 RPMs W.O.T. I cruise about 3400 RPMs with a square Mustang 380 chute. I tried an E280 ellip chute and only got it flying 3 times. Cruised at 3100 RPMs. Not enough power out of the hole to rotate it. Incidentally, it is for sale on eBay. Auction ends in 3 days. It only has about 6 hours on it. Beautiful chute...but I can't use it. Pictures are included if I can figure out how.
Fly safe,

Russell Long
